The Teachers

During the day John is an instructor of Acting and Computer Science at St. John Fisher College where he also produces a One Act play festival and a Theatre-In-A-Day event featuring the talents of local playwrights.

John's greatest joy is working with children in theatre. He runs several summer theatre camps as well as fall and spring acting and musical theatre workshops. John's Sunday mornings throughout the school year are spent with Sunday School children writing and performing their own musicals. And now he brings his energy and excitement to Fairport!

One of John's goals is to make sure children are having fun on stage while helping them discover and develop their own talents.

Kaitlyn Zorn • Musical Theatre
Kaitlyn has a degree in Arts for Children from SUNY Brockport. She has been acting, singing, dancing and working with children for a number of years. A Fairport native and graduate of FHS, Kaitlyn currently works with a number of area schools as Choreographer such has Gananda Community Youth Theatre, Gananda Middle School, Brighton Middle School, Stages and Spotlight Studios. Her favorite performance rolls include Jesus in Godspell and Taylor in Disney's High School Musical (premier production at Stages in 2006) but has also been seen in Into the Woods, Jekyll and Hyde, Joseph, Beauty and the Beast and It's A Wonderful Life. Kaitlyn is currently a teacher at the Risen Christ Preschool in Perinton.
