STAGES is pleased to announce AUDITIONS for
Madeline's Christmas
Directed by Cara D'Emanuele
Audition Dates and Times:
Monday September 8, 6 - 8:30 pm
Wednesday September 10, 6 - 8:30 pm
Thursday September 11, 6 - 8:30 pm
(These are open calls. No audition appointment is necessary.
Callbacks will be held Saturday September 13, 1 - 4 pm.)
Audition Location:
UpStage 3 at The Auditorium Center, 875 East Main Street, Rochester
(Park in the rear of the building. Take the gold lobby elevator to Floor 3.)
Casting:
Girls ages 6 - 18 (Beginners are welcome!) for the roles of Madeline, Miss Clavel, the eleven girls and supporting roles.
Please prepare:
One musical theatre song which reflects your level of experience and vocal talent.
An accompanist will be provided.
(Suggestions for beginners are songs from Annie, Cinderella, Oliver, The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang
or similar shows. Experienced performers - please do not prepare songs from Hairspray, Wicked, High School Musical,
Mama Mia or similar shows.)
Please bring:
- Sheet music for your song (no cd recordings)
- A headshot or photo of any kind
- A performing resume (if you have one)
Rehearsal Period:
October 5 - December 4
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday Evenings and Sunday afternoon/evenings
(Please note: All actors are not required to attend every rehearsal.)
Production Dates:
December 5-21
(Fridays at 7 pm, Saturdays at 2 pm and 7 pm and Sundays at 2 pm)
