announces the auditions for

Parents Just Don't Understand

A play for young performers grades 4-8

This is a collection of hilarious (and often too close to the truth) scenes that all families are going to be able to relate to, a lighthearted look at a "greatest hit list" of classic family moments. Remember when Dad tried to teach you to drive? Or Mom decided that she would help pick out your wardrobe? How about those family vacations when you were stuck in the backseat for hours on end with your annoying sibling, headed for a camping trip in the middle of nowhere ... and then your iPad suddenly died.

This production has flexible casting to allow anywhere from 5 up to 33 participants!

Auditions:

• Monday January 5 at 6pm
• Tuesday January 6 at 6pm
• Friday January 9 at 6pm

Participants only need to attend one audition date. If you are unable to attend any audition dates, contact the director at john.barthelmes@gmail.com to set up an alternate audition.

At the audition you will be asked to read from one of the audition scenes (below).

PERFORMANCES:

• Friday March 20 at 7pm
• Saturday March 21 at 2pm
• Saturday March 21 at 7pm

BRING:

• Completed Audition Form and Conflicts Sheet (download below)
  • Audition Form - print this out and fill it out to save time at auditions.
  • Audition Scenes - scenes to be used during the acting audition.
• A headshot or school picture, which will not be returned

There is NO cost for this production. Those interested must audition to be in this production.
