St. John Fisher College and Spotlight Theatre is proud to announce its

Celebration of One Acts

The Celebration of One Acts strives to promote and produce new short works created by authors in the Rochester area. Selected plays will be produced in Spring 2010 at St. John Fisher campus.

This year submissions will be accepted under three categories:

• High School-age authors
• College-age authors
• Adult authors

One acts will be selected from EACH category for the performances in Spring 2010.

All submissions must be postmarked by October 30, 2009.

Submission Guidelines:

• All work MUST be original and authored by the person submitting the work.
• Submissions must have an approximate running time of 45 minutes or less.
• Include ONE cover page containing the following information:
  • Title
  • Author's Name
  • Author's school name and address (for College and High School)
  • Telephone Number
  • Email address
  • Approximate Running Time
  • Character Sketch
  • Brief Synopsis
  • Date Authored/Date Submitted
  • Category being submitted to (High School, College, Adult)
• Please include six (6) copies of your play. Please do not put your name on the submission anywhere other than the cover page.
